Why do lithium batteries use preheating processes in production? It has been proved by many practices that the lithium battery cell is heated by the cell preheating tunnel furnace before hot pressing, which has the following three advantages:

1) Ensure the consistency of the battery cell: the battery cell is preheated and then hot pressed, which can avoid hot pressing deformation, good shaping and shaping effect and high consistency;

2) Improve the production efficiency and capacity of the battery: the battery cell is hot pressed after preheating, which can be rapidly formed, which greatly reduces the time compared with the traditional hot pressing machine, and can reduce the baking time of the post section by 50%;

3) Reduce operating costs: the hot pressing equipment can be reduced by half, saving the hot pressing cost and plant area.

Application: Cell preheating tunnel furnace is used for preheating of lithium battery bare cell after winding or lamination and before hot pressing and shaping.

When the lithium battery bare cell is preheated, it is generally heated by hot air circulation or contact preheating tunnel furnace. Among them, the hot air circulating preheating furnace has a higher cost performance, but there are also problems and pain points such as low temperature uniformity, dust pollution and production efficiency bottleneck.

Shenzhen Haobao technology R & D team, using a new design concept, developed a fully automatic cell preheating tunnel furnace with good temperature control uniformity, high cleanliness and efficient production, to bring better cell preheating solutions for new energy battery manufacturers.
